Life Transitions

Life transitions can bring both excitement and uncertainty. Starting school, beginning a new job, moving, entering a new stage of adulthood, or taking on a new role in your life can feel generative while also bringing unexpected challenges. Even positive changes can bring anxiety, self-doubt, or a sense of loss as you adjust to what is new and let go of what was familiar.

Other transitions, such as infertility, the death of a loved one, the end of a meaningful relationship, or changes in family relationships, can bring grief and sadness. You may find yourself questioning who you are, what you want, or how to move forward when the path ahead feels uncertain. Sometimes a transition can also bring up older patterns or unresolved experiences that you had not expected.

Therapy can provide space to slow down and make sense of the complexity of these experiences. Together, we can explore what this transition means for you, understand the emotions and patterns it may be bringing to the surface, and consider how you want to move forward while staying connected to your values and sense of self.
